Homebuyer Assistance Program
The Homebuyer Assistance Program provides non amortizing subordinate mortgage loans to lower the purchase price of a home for qualified persons in Greenville County. This program is on a first come, first ready basis. Greenville Housing Fund will provide a 5:1 match up to $5,000 per homeowner. Funding is limited. Homes For Teachers
The Homes for Teachers is a program launched for teachers in the Greenville County School District. It is a forgivable loan for down payment assistance for first time homebuyers. The Greenville Housing Fund will match the teachers down payment costs 3:1 up to $3,000. Please see more details and application information below.
Employer Assisted Housing/Home from Work Program
The Employer Assisted Housing Program, also known as "Home from Work", partners with local employers who have a desire help to provide safe, affordable housing for their employees close to the workplace. The Greenville Housing Fund and the Greenville Hospital System (GHS) have collaborated to assist employees of the five main GHS campuses achieve their dream of home ownership.
